WEDNESDAY’S WORD OF THE WEEK: MARCH 18, 2015 – REASON

WORD OF THE WEEKWORD OF THE WEEK – REASON

“Reason is the human ability to see a relationship between real or possible facts and other real or possible facts, such that if you have the one, you have the other.  Or if it’s an exclusionary relationship, you have the one and you don’t have the other.  What were the facts Jesus was referring to in Matthew 6:30?  Premise #1: God cares for the grass. Premise #2: You are worth at least as much as the grass.  So what’s the conclusion?  God cares for you.  And that is reason: the relationship between real and possible facts and other real or possible facts.”  -Dallas Willard

  1. I had to (as I always do) read this blog a couple of times…
To me faith in God’s love (“cares for me”) are the reasons “between real and possible facts and other real or possible facts”
With all the illnesses both me and my husband share as of lately, my faith in HIM are real and possible facts.
